Light Spikes
Houston, Texas
|
Responding to an opportunity provided by the 1990 World Economic
Summit of Industrialized Nations, Jay Baker conceived, designed,
and supervised fabrication of the “Light Spikes.”
This illuminated sculpture served as Houston’s visual welcome
to the world, and is now permanently installed at George Bush
Intercontinental Airport.
